Spanning 212 pages and enriched by more than 195 photographs—many depicting mother-of-pearl artworks handcrafted by the Taller Palestina of Barranquilla, heirs to a millennial artistic tradition from Bethlehem—it offers a vivid and enduring testimony of this migration experience. Nació en Barranquilla en 1960. Cursó estudios de ingeniería y administración en la Universidad de Purdue, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA. Miembro de la Academia de Historia de Barranquilla desde diferentes ejes temáticos: el inicio de la fotografía, la historia de las postales, vapores, migración árabe y alemana, barrios e iglesias. Coleccionista de fotografías y postales originales a partir del siglo XIX sobre Barranquilla, Cartagena y Santa Marta con más de 11.000 postales.
